How Tank Monitor Installation Works
Propane tank monitors are provided at no charge for our automatic delivery customers, and will-call customers can still take advantage of tank monitoring for a low annual fee of $36.
- Contact our team to request a tank monitor. We will collect some basic information to set up your tank monitoring account.
- A qualified Kinsman Propane technician will schedule a visit to your home and attach an Otodata tank monitor to your tank. This typically takes about 15 minutes.
- The monitor sensor connects to the tank gauge, and the monitor is mounted on the tank, usually near or on the collar.
- Once installed and tested, the monitor begins sending real-time propane levels over to a secure cellular connection.
- You can download the mobile app through your phone or your customer portal to see your levels the same way we do.
